Canceling And Refund Policy
The Vegan Stay has a Cancelation Policy that covers a variety of circumstances.
Important disclaimer: The Cancelation and Refund Policy of The Vegan Stay will be revised by the end of 2022 to create a number of policies Hosts can choose from so that each can have a policy that best serves their goals.
1. For Guests:
1.1 Before Booking:
Before payment has been submitted and booking has been confirmed, there is no need for cancellation. The Cancellation Policy applies only after a reservation has been made.
1.2 After Booking:
If the cancellation happens at least 7 full days before arrival, the Guest receives a full refund and the Host will not be paid. If the cancellation happens at least 3 days before arrival, the Guest will be charged the cost of one full night + 50% for the remaining nights. If the Hosts cancels on the same day of reservation, but before check-in time, the Guest will be charged for three full nights + 50% of the remaining nights, if the stay is longer than 3 nights. If the stay is shorter than 3 nights, the Guest does not receive any refund.
1.2 For Hosts:
Vegan Hosts are expected to honor any reservation made according to The Vegan Stay Policies. However, we understand that there are extenuating circumstances that prevent them from following with such reservations (natural disasters, etc). In that case, Vegan Hosts authorize The Vegan Stay to refund Vegan and Vegan-Curious Guests 100% of the money they paid for services not delivered by the Host.
